What an amazing send off for you today Dad. Your family were so strong and brave today. I think you would have been really proud of all of us. Katy and Chris each read something they had written for you. Paul, Sue and myself read prayers for you. Mum was amazingly strong as well. We all ended the day with a family evening - I know you would have smiled with us too. I am sure you are smiling now in heaven. Miss you so much Dad, I really do. These next few days, weeks, months and years are going to be so hard. I think now is the time I'll start to get upset as it's sinking in that you are not going to be coming back. I've been strong for Mum and also for me, to help me get through the planning and ensure I did the very best for you. Now I think I'll allow myself to cry and get upset. I'm sure you won't mind.
